Change Management Strategist

We are seeking a Change Management Strategist to develop and execute change strategies that enhance adoption, minimize resistance, and maximize business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As a Change Management Strategist, you will:

Develop Change Strategy β Partner with leadership to define a tailored change management approach aligned with project objectives and organizational culture.

Lead Execution β Implement change strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communications, and training programs.
β
Stakeholder Engagement β Identify key stakeholders, assess impacts, and create targeted engagement plans to build alignment.
β
Communication & Messaging β Develop and deliver clear, compelling change communications that drive awareness and adoption.
β
Training & Enablement β Design and facilitate training sessions to equip employees with the knowledge and skills needed for successful change adoption.
β
Monitor & Measure Success β Track adoption metrics, conduct change readiness assessments, and adjust strategies as needed.
β
Coach Leaders & Teams β Provide coaching and support to business leaders and teams to embed change resilience and sustain transformation.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or a related field.
- Expertise in PROSCI, ADKAR, Kotterβs Change Model, or other change management frameworks.
- Strong ability to translate strategy into action and drive execution in complex environments.
Experience leading business transformation or organizational change initiatives. - Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project) and strong Microsoft Office/Google Suite skills.
- Preferred: Prosci, CCMP, or similar change management certification.
- Bonus: Experience with digital transformations, M&A integrations, or people-focused transformation work.
Engagement Details
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, offering flexibility and autonomy. Engagements are project-based, and hours may vary depending on client needs. While this role is not a full-time salaried position, there is potential for ongoing collaboration on multiple client engagements.
