About the Role
We are seeking a Business Process, Data & Reporting Analyst to support our clients in optimizing operations, leveraging data for strategic insights, and driving informed decision-making. This role will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop reporting solutions that provide visibility into key performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, document, and optimize business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using business intelligence tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support data governance efforts, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities by analyzing operational and financial data.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements, automation, and technology adoption.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, data analytics, or reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience with data management, SQL, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling way.
- Ability to work independently in a consulting capacity, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience in mid-sized organizations, professional services, or consulting is a plus.
Engagement Details
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, offering flexibility and autonomy. Engagements are project-based, and hours may vary depending on client needs. While this role is not a full-time salaried position, there is potential for ongoing collaboration on multiple client engagements.
